The Long Way Back originates songs that reflect the growing pains of life. The alt. folk band was formed by singer-songwriter Andrew Drinnan. Save for Andrew and his wife Megan Torgerson, the bandmates met at Seattle’s illustrious Conor Byrne open mic. Megan, a podcaster and farmer’s daughter from Eastern Montana, is a backing vocalist and bassist. They’re joined by electric guitarist Avi Knecht, a Midwest boy born to a music professor; keys player Alex Wilson, a classically-trained pianist, father and military veteran; and drummer Aaron Spieldenner, a Berklee College of Music alum and co-owner of Seattle-based studio, Hazy Bay Music.
