ABOUT US

OUR STORY

The Red Ants Pants Music Festival was founded in 2011. It is designed to bring people together and is a program of the 501(c)(3) Red Ants Pants Foundation. Our non-profit is dedicated to women’s leadership, working family farms and ranches, and rural communities. We use proceeds from the festival to fund our community grants and run our timber skills work shops and Girl’s Leadership Program. The festival was founded and is produced by Red Ants Pants owner Sarah Calhoun. Yes, a little Made in the USA pants company started a music festival. Not the usual path for small business, but why not?

This festival is 100% home grown and run by an incredibly dedicated crew of hardworking staff. We are joined every July by dozens of friends and family that round out our 90-strong festival staff. Throw in 250 festival volunteers and this makes for a lot of hard work to pull off a pretty fantastic celebration. We are incredibly honored to have been named the 2018 Event of the Year by the Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development.

Thank you for being part of the excitement!
