Sunday, July 27th • 11:00am • Side Stage

For the second year, Red Ants Pants Music Festival is partnering with KGLT Kids to facilitate a kids songwriting workshop. This fun, community-oriented activity is focused on providing kids ages 5 to 18 with tools to write and perform original poetry and music.

The KGLT Kids Songwriting Workshop offers a creative space for young songwriters to explore the magic of melody and lyricism. Participants will learn the craft of songwriting and music composition. Participants will collaborate with local and touring musicians who will help shape the music and bring each kid’s song to life. Songwriters will have the opportunity to perform their finished piece on the Red Ants Pants Music Festival Side Stage on Sunday, July 27th, 2025 alongside a professional musician. Family and friends are encouraged to join in on the fun!

Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. We kindly ask that parents only enroll kids who are enthusiastic about songwriting and are willing to commit to participating in the workshop.
