Few Miles South is a female-fronted country/roots group created by south Georgia-raised Blake English, and Los Angeles native, Tori Lund. Dubbed “the country Pretenders” by WSM’s Devon O’Day, Tori’s ethereal vocals are the yin to Blake’s chicken pickin’ yang. Their first single “On Down the Road” won HOTDISC Country’s Best International Music Video in 2017 and they’ve since released three other albums earning recognition for “stick[ing] with tried and true country backroads” (Skope Magazine). They’ve performed at Stagecoach, opened for Junior Brown and The Kentucky Headhunters and do it all from a van with their dogs.
