FAQs

The last week in July each year, the festival is located just three miles outside of White Sulphur Springs, Montana. For directions to the festival please visit our travel page. The festival grounds are located on the Jackson Ranch, which serves double duty as a cow pasture during non-festival season. Signs will guide your way to the festival grounds in our rural community – you can’t miss it!

Yes, we invest in two large buses to run continuously between the festival grounds and eight stops in town every 15-20 minutes throughout the festival weekend. The shuttle is free, find more information on our general info page.

Prefer to drive your own vehicle out to the festival? We have an expansive day parking lot thanks to the generosity of one of our neighboring landowners. As you head out of town towards the Festival, follow the signs for day parking and you’ll breeze right in! Parking is free here.

From our day parking lot, it’s a short walk to the main ticketing gate and then into the festival grounds.

No camping overnight is allowed in our day parking lot, however, so if you plan to camp in your vehicle, please follow the signs to the campground and get settled in!

We want you to come prepared, so please bring those things that will make your festival experience a great one. We do not allow weapons, firearms, hard sided coolers, glass, or pets in the festival grounds. Please take time to read our general and campground information pages to help you get prepared; these will answer most of your questions.

We have four large shade structures on the festival grounds. You are welcome to bring your own canopy to set up in the back and leave for the entire weekend – learn more here. We do recommend bringing a hat and plenty of sunscreen as our shade structures fill up quickly!

Yes, we do allow these items into the festival grounds. A special zoning area will be enforced behind the general seating area, where individuals with these items may sit. Again this year, our canopy/tent/umbrella area will start 30′ farther back from the path that transects the infield. Please review the Festival map in advance and be respectful of the view of those behind you when using these items.

Yes, there will be a large potable water truck with several spigots to fill your water bottles near the entrance to the main gate, in the food vendor area, and at the white flag in the campground. Ice will also be sold on the festival grounds and in the campground.

Thanks to the support of our community partner and sponsor, Triangle Communications, internet will be available in the festival grounds.  Attendees will be able to sign up onsite for a day or weekend pass through a website portal, similar to signing up for internet at a hotel.

The Wi-Fi network does not extend to the campground. Generally, Verizon cellular service is stronger onsite than AT&T, but as more folks onsite are using devices, the slower you’ll scroll…we encourage you to take a break from your device and enjoy being together with the colony. Really needing to connect? There are a number of wonderful businesses in town that offer complimentary internet access for customers and Triangle Communications increases speeds in town to ensure they can service the need!

Our campgrounds are expansive, folks. We can accommodate your 40 foot RV, teepee, or sheep wagon with no problem. No matter what day or time you arrive, there will be plenty of room for you. Remember, there are no hookups.

Our campground is ticketed per person – each individual in your party must purchase a campground pass, which is exchanged for a wristband. We have one flat rate whether you are joining us for all four nights of camping or just one.

We do not allow you to save camping spots for anyone who has not arrived with you. If you would like to have a guaranteed spot next to your buddies, we suggest you arrive together.

You’re welcome to go between the festival grounds and our campgrounds as you please during hours when our festival grounds are open to the public.

We’re once again partnering with Wild Productions this year and wanted our fans to have the opportunity to join in the fun. Enjoy your time at the festival under luxurious canvas tents furnished with real beds, organic linens, and everything you need to be comfortable all four nights of your stay including lanterns, patio chairs, luggage stand, nightstands, and more! Choose from a king bed, two twins, or 3 twins! Reserve your glamp here. Reservations must be made by July 12, 2024 through Wild Productions’ website. Glamping packages do not include campground ticket(s) – each person camping must have a campground wristband and a festival ticket.

Looking for an RV? Please consider utilizing our sponsor, Campervan North America. These vans are comfy, nimble, and efficient. They’ve taken great care of festival-goers for years!

Forgot a key element of your camping setup? Don’t forget that we have an incredible sporting goods store right in town – visit Twin Sisters Trading Company in downtown White Sulphur – a great one-stop shop for all your needs!

Yes! Please view our Special Services page!

Everyone! Priority will be given to folks who are nice. And neighborly. And funny. But even if you’re not funny, you’re welcome to come connect with good folks and celebrate rural Montana with us!

We are committed to ensuring our event is safe and welcoming to all. We train our staff extensively on how to handle any type of harassment. We will keep working hard to implement additional protocols to ensure this.

Our goal as a festival is to bring people together and as such we condemn divisive symbols or inappropriate imagery that would make anyone feel unsafe. As such, the display of the confederate flag is not in line with our mission of creating a welcoming environment for all of our guests.

To be clear: hate speech has never been allowed at our event and we take it very seriously.

Your safety is our #1 priority. We work hard to ensure everyone feels safe and welcome at our event. We work closely with our County law, EMS, and fire teams and supplement these generous public resources with our own privately hired security staff and EMS provider.

New this year, we’ve also partnered with REES (Respect, Educate, Empower Survivors) to enable a simple, secure online platform for reporting sexual violence – to report an unwanted interaction, please talk to our staff, law enforcement, or report it anonymously at the non-tracking and secure site, https://www.reescommunity.com/festivals/, depending on what feels best for you. You can also take time to process your experience and report it at any time after the event through this website; REES also provides information about community-based resources such as sexual assault centers, healthcare, and other support services.

We do not allow any pets in the campground or festival grounds. It’s hot, dry, and loud out in that cow pasture, and no place for our four legged friends. Luckily, we have a few new pet boarding service in White Sulphur Springs – contact PoochieNow or Shedhorn Pet Boarding to learn more.

There are many pet boarding options in Townsend, Helena, Great Falls, and Bozeman. Certified service animals are allowed with prior permission, please contact info [at] redantspantsmusicfestival [dot] com in advance to submit your request.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

If you don’t see your question answered here or in any of our Festival Info, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d be happy to help in any way we can.
